Tour—Auto-features
HitList almost looks after your valuable marketing data by itself. Just take a look at the list of auto-features below. Auto UpdateAfter a period of time, some of your records become stale. That is, they probably haven't been updated in a while. HitList can look out for stale records and send an email to those people (if an email is entered), to ask that they might update their details. People updating their details can opt-in or opt-out of services that you offer, update their basic details, and update their marketing profile -- depending on what you choose to publish to the outside world. Auto Address VerificationHitList comes with the Experian QAS address verification tools built in. Just type in an address, and click Verify address to see if the address is deliverable.
Running a campaign against unverified addresses is a great way to ruin the response rate for your campaign. Make sure you send campaign material to verified addresses only, maximising the effect of your campaign. Auto Profiling (beta coming soon)HitList lets you manually profile customers with any number of user-defined marketing categories. This lets you target a campaign to those people interested in your offer. What we're working on right now is the ability to teach HitList how you profile records, and then get HitList to profile the rest. This has large implications on being able to turn unprofiled data into profile data quickly. Auto Duplicate Detection and MergingOver time, if you accumulate lots of customer records, and have multiple people editing your HitList account, then you will likely end up with some duplicate records. HitList is constantly on the lookout for duplicates, and makes it extremely simple to view and merge duplicates. If you like, you can also tell HitList to merge duplicates. You'd typically do this where its absolutely clear that two or more contacts are duplicates. |
